OUR STORY

We believe that all people want their children to attend schools that have tools such as chalkboard, desks, chairs, water, light, and toilets.  Yet it is reported in the 2014 -15 Department of Education Enugu Census Report that 80% of schools in Enugu have insufficient seating Pupil-to-toilet ratio of 152 in public primary schools.  Over 64% of primary schools have no toilet.  Eighty-seven (87%) of primary schools have no source of water.

Nkanu Game Changers aims to engage others to change the current mindset in Nigeria that accepts this current deplorable state of primary public schools.  Starting with Nkanu Primary Schools we commit to raising funds to equip each classroom with a blackboard (chalkboard), desks and chairs for all pupil.  We will advocate for the state to ensure that toilets, water, light and first aid clinic is in all public primary schools.
